Most doctors on the island speak good English, as they will have been trained
abroad in an English speaking country or an Eastern ex Soviet block country. You will find them in the
yellow pages phone
directory under Medical Practitioners.
Laboratories are many and quick in Cyprus, you can have blood and
other tests, X-rays , scans and whatever other medical procedures are available in England
at a fraction of the cost without a waiting list. |
Dentists
here are good and many speak English. |
Opticians are also many, cheaper than many other
European countries and quick, so if you wear glasses
or contact lenses you will find yourself with a very useful bargain. |
There is always a late night chemist
